Cash handling

 In those days, there were no counting machines.
Only manual counting.
You would have to sort the notes also.
Something would be sticky.
You could not separate the damp pieces.
Some of the notes would have washing marks of turmeric. It is customary  to drop a few currencies in the Aarathi plates.Such notes could not be refused.
Then comes the stitching.
Bundling.
People would say," If you are beaten with a bundle, then the damage should be felt only on your head but no on the currencies".
But, no body had tested that in practical.
